VINEYARD
La Tourraque

A FAMILY-OWNED ESTATE SINCE 1805
Since 1805, our family cultivates and therefore protects this valley, a unique biotope of a rich wildlife: partridge, hare, shrew, hermann’s turtle, fox, lizard... This natural space, classified site since 1995, has recently become part of the national park of port-cros. At first it was an autarcic farm, hunting and fishing, producing fruits, vegetables, cereals, olive oil, and of course wine. Then, the last one became the main production. This heritage makes us fully conscious of our role in the conservation of this ecosystem.

Virtuous agriculture
30 hectares of vines, including rarer grape varieties such as Tibouren or Muscat, are thus cultivated on the estate. Located at the southwest gate of the peninsula of Saint- Tropez, the immediate proximity of the sea guarantees a windy and temperate climate. With the unique diversity of our soils (granite, schist, clay...) and low yields, this link with our environment is best expressed in our wines. In order to respect our terroir as much as possible, we do not irrigate or destroy the landscape by creating earthworks.

We take care of the soil quality in our valley by planting different plots each year, which we adapt according to the needs of each field. These seedlings are chosen to also benefit the biodiversity of the surrounding forests, as well as for the food of the bees that we welcome, and whose honey we offer at the estate. finally, these seedlings benefit to the crop auxiliaries that limit the presence of pests. Organic farming is for us the minimum basis on which we create an increasingly virtuous agriculture each year.

Des vins variés et créatifs
We ensure to use the knowledge of the generations that have preceded us, but also more recent winemaking techniques. For red wines, we practice carbonic maceration to obtain light and fruity wines, and traditional fermentation for deeper and complex reds, some of which are aged in oak barrels.
For rosé and white, inerting, temperature management and assembly are decisive elements. Our granite and clay plots offer us elegant rosé wines, with aromas of white fruits, citrus and confectionery. The whites are complex and long on the palate. The terroir is expressed here with floral or peach-vine aromas. We also develop each year original wines in the choice of grape varieties, vinification or blends, for all tasting enthusiasts.
